Senior Marketing Manager This position calls for an aggressive marketing maven with exceptional organization skills and experience in marketing within Western Europe – specifically UK, France and Germany. This individual will need to be self motivated with 2 - 3 years of marketing experience preferably in the wireless industry. The candidate must be located in the UK, France or Germany reporting to US Marketing Director. The candidate must be proficient in English and preferably French and German. The candidate must be a resourceful, strong communicator who excels at multi-tasking; is able to work with many departments and layers of management, capable of managing numerous projects simultaneously within deadlines and has a strong desire to take his/her marketing skills and career to the next level.Working under general supervision of US-based management, this individual will need to be (somewhat) flexible as far as hours of availability. The candidate will hold the primary responsibility for all marketing and communications activities in Western Europe. This is a great opportunity for a marketing entrepreneur who wants to “run their own show!” This individual will work in collaboration with a dedicated business development and public relations team located in Western Europe. Main Responsibilities will include: Lead generation though general marketing campaigns and partner marketing including collaborative Go-to-market campaigns with established European-based partners, content management, managing all public relations activities in Europe; Coordinating tradeshow and conference management participation (with the help of PR in Europe ); Attending tradeshows and events in Europe and – on some occasions – speaking on panels on behalf of the company if a US-based representative can’t make it. Other responsibilities include: Managing PR team; Managing promotional campaigns; creating brochures, message development; content development and ensuring company image and customer relations are enhanced through these activities.The ideal candidate will possess: - A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or business development capacity in Western Europe.
- Understanding of the Wireless/Mobile marketplace and how to market in it.
- Experience in partner marketing and lead generation focused marketing campaigns.
- The ability to work independently and to be resourceful in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Superior organizational skills, with an eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Clear, effective communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and levels in a team-oriented organization to "get the job done" in a deadline driven environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Internet and database management a plus.
- Must be adaptable to changing priorities as market conditions change.
- Degree in Marketing and/or Communications preferred.
